The West Highland Way Walk
Scotland is a country steeped in history and tradition. The scenery is magnificent and the people are amongst the friendliest on earth. This walk starts in Glasgow and finishes in Fort William and takes in some of the best walking Scotland. If the weather behaves itself you will have your best holiday ever! This is Colin's very own turf and he has walked along the West Highland Way a number of times.
This walk can be lengthened and shortened or modified to suit your needs. Rest days can be built in if you want to climb one of the many Munros along the way. Other overnight stops include Crianlarich and Inveroran.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Glasgow or Milngavie
Day 2: Milngavie to Drymen - 19km
Day 3: Drymen to Rowardennan - 23km
Day 4: Rowardennan to Inverarnan - 23km
Day 5: Inverarnan to Tyndrum - 21km
Day 6: Tyndrum to Kingshouse - 32km
Day 7: Rest day in Glencoe
Day 8: Kingshouse to Kinlochleven - 16km
Day 9: Kinlochleven to Fort William - 22km

This is a reasonable easy walk but can be hampered by bad weather. Good waterproof boots are required.
